today we were supposed to be filming the monthly SWP meeting in the quaker house in sheffield. we have to full permission of the SWP who were more than willing to let us film their meeting. unfortunately we have just discovered that we are unable to film inside the quaker building, due to a sudden change of mind. this is not something that we could have changed or we could have foreseen. we had done all of the work meeting people, and getting permission to film the meeting. we had got signed release forms, but this all accounts for nothing due to the sudden change of heart by the building owners, not the SWP.
This is very frustrating as we had booked all our equipment, and sorted out interviews, and what to film. we have learnt that even with the full permission of those who we would be filming, we cannot always please everyone.
we will now have to go back and think of what to add in the film instead.
